Milan Dharmasthali School has established in 2058B.S under the category of public trust school. The major aim of the school was to educate under privileged girls who are unable to pay for their studies. The school had 40 students in 2058B.S. After 2062 B.S MDS has started to run as co-educational institute. It is started to involve students in SLC Examination from 2068B.S. after 10 years of its establishment. From the date of its establishment it is providing quality education for all boys and girls collecting moderate fees from students.
At present MDS is being symbol of quality education, a cheap and best educational institute of Tarkeshower Municipality, the northern part of Kathmandu Valley.
